BIKE BUILD

Here I want to introduce you to my bikes I already builded. For the moment just two Peugeot frames so far, but we don’t know… What comes next?

Peugeot ATB ‘Black Rock’ 1990

This is the Peugeot Black Rock from around 1990. Originally it came with a 3×7 drivetrain but I converted it to a 1×10 speed system . For touring, the frame is a bit to small for me so I decided to mount big 26”x2.25” tires so the bike becomes a nice trail/forrest bike. So I do not have to take the gravel bike to the forest.

Original parts:
– Steel CoMo frame
– Shimano 26” aluminum wheels
Second hand parts:
– Schwalbe Noby Nic tires 26”x2,25
– Shimano Deore crancset
– Handlebar
– Bottleholders
New parts:
– L-TWOO A7 10 speed drivetrain with 1x 34 teeth chainring
– Shimano BR-T4000 V Brakes
– Ergon GA3 grips
– Flat MTB pedals with spikes

Peugeot Cruise Bike ‘Blue Lagoon’ 1987

This is the Peugeot Blue Lagoon MTB from around 1987. Originally it was designed to be a MTB but I transformed it to a cruise bike to drive around in the city. Since the bike was not used much, I was able to restore the original derailleur and cassette , a 7 speed system Suntour XC. Probably one of the last systems manufactured from this enterprise since they stopped producing in 1989. With the 7 speed system it’s well equipped for the city or easy gravel trails.

Original parts:
– Peugeot steel CrMo Frame
– Suntour 26” polished chrome steel wheels
– Suntour XC 7 speed shifting system
– Suntour Cantilever breaks
– Seatpost and seat

Second hand parts:
– Shimano crankset
– Handlebar

New parts:
– Shimano BL-R780 flat bar break leavers
– M-Wave Bella C bell
– Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires
– WTB Wavelength handles
– Deckas 36t chainring
– WTB Chain with quick-lock
